Hello.
I’m Shell, founder of Lazy Teds Marketing and proud dog mum to the legendary, Teddy, Head of Snoozing, Chief Treat Inspector, and occasional Admin Assistant. We’re tucked away in the green, leafy wilds of Cheshire, where big dreams and muddy walks go hand in paw.
I’ve been a dog mum since 2008, when I rescued a troubled two-year-old German Shepherd called Prince. Prince came from Manchester Dogs Home, just like Teddy, and was my best friend for 12.5 years. Prince taught me how to love, lead, and nurture. He made me a mum. A gentle giant with a soft spot for cuddly toys and ice cream. Prince changed everything. Losing him left a huge space in my heart, and it was that space, filled with memories, love, and lessons, that inspired me to give another rescue dog a second chance.
In 2021, I rescued Teddy. He’s quirky, complicated, full of love, and the inspiration behind everything we do here. From the moment he trotted into my life, things shifted. We’ve faced life’s ups and downs together, and somewhere in the middle of that chaos, Lazy Teds was born: rooted in resilience, heart, and a healthy dose of dog hair.
As you can probably tell, my dogs are my world. Everything I do is for them and for the love they give so freely. I aim to provide Teddy, in Prince’s memory, the best life I possibly can. One filled with simple joys, like beach days in the sun, beautiful walks, cuddles, and the kind of memories that live in your heart forever.
Over the years, I’ve worked across a wide mix of industries, helping businesses shape their brands, websites and marketing in a way that feels genuine and approachable. Alongside that experience, I’ve continued learning through qualifications and courses in branding, digital marketing, packaging design, consumer behaviour and more.
But honestly? The biggest inspiration behind Lazy Teds has always been connection, creativity, and the two rescue dogs who unknowingly built the heart of the brand.
Lazy Teds is more than just marketing. It’s about connection, story, and soul. We support purpose-led brands, small businesses, big businesses, and fellow dreamers who want to build something that matters. Whether it’s a new launch, a rebrand, or simply finding the courage to be seen, we’re here for it, every step of the way.
Teddy keeps me grounded (and occasionally distracted by squirrels), but he also reminds me daily why we do this. For the love, the grit, the growth, and for those wild, wonderful ideas that deserve to be brought to life.
The paw prints you’ll see throughout the Lazy Teds website aren’t just part of the branding. They’re Prince and Teddy’s real paw prints.
Prince’s paw sits on the left, Teddy’s on the right. A quiet little reminder that Lazy Teds was built from love, loyalty, rescue dogs, muddy walks, heartbreak, healing, and the kind of connection that changes your life forever.
This is our story. We’d love to hear yours…
EXPERIENCE WITH HEART
Alongside years of hands-on experience, I’ve got a Level 6 qualification in Brand Management and a Level 7 qualification in Digital Marketing, plus further study in things like Neuromarketing, Product Development and Packaging Design.
I’ve always been fascinated by the psychology behind marketing too. I love putting myself in the customer’s shoes to understand how people think, feel and connect with brands, helping me create strategies, messaging and websites that feel more natural, engaging and genuinely effective.
I care about creating marketing that actually feels like the business behind it; not something generic, over-polished or created just to follow trends. Whether it’s branding, strategy, SEO or website design, I always try to put myself in the customer’s shoes to understand how people think, feel and engage with a brand.
That mix of creativity, psychology and honest strategy is what shapes everything I do through Lazy Teds Marketing.
Lets have a brew
Whether you’ve got a big idea brewing, need a hand with your brand, or just fancy a chat over a cuppa, we’d love to hear from you. No pressure, no jargon, just honest conversation (and probably a dog or two in the background). Pop us a message and let’s see where it takes us.
